This past weekend we took the kids to see Santa come off of the train. It was fun, but bitter, bitter cold. They actually had a parade that travelled approximately two short blocks. But beingt that it was so cold we followed in the family van. Hot chocolate and our shy girls asking Santa what they wanted. It was adorable Ashlyn grinning ang giggling, never actually getting around to ask for anything and Laney clinging to me and shyly asking for lipstick. "Lots of colored nummy lipstick." Then my little man hanging with his friends. Nine years old and already finding independace. Why do they ever have to grow? I love them how they are. I cherish these momments.
